EU Deputy Director General visits Information Age Park Ennis
Madame Françoise Le Bail, Deputy Director General of DG Enterprise and Industry in the European Commission, together with Mr Alain Liberos, Head of Department DG Enterprise and Industry, visited the InnovationWorks building at Information Age Park Ennis on Thursday, 24 May 2007. Madame Le Bail is the EU Commission’s envoy for Small and Medium Enterprise while Mr Liberos has special responsibility for Innovation policy in the DG Enterprise and Industry. Madame Le Bail and Mr Liberos received presentations from Mr Kevin Thompstone, Shannon Development, Mr John Smith, Enterprise Ireland, Mr Frank Keane, Vitalograph Ltd, Mr Gerry Sadlier, Data Display Ltd, and Mr Joe Purcell, Mincon Ltd. Following the presentations, Madame Le Bail met a number of local entrepreneurs and clients in InnovationWorks before visiting the Vitalograph plant at the Gort Road Business Park, Ennis.
