Flying the Flag….

Limerick are pictured here at Adare Manor Hotel and Golf Resort flying the flag for the forthcoming Irish Open Golf Championship which is due to run from 15th to 18th May ‘08. Shannon Development is a sponsor of the event and is lending support to market and promote the Championship (standing l-r) are Pat Daly, Tourism Marketing Manager, Shannon Development and John King, Heritage and Tourism Director, Shannon Development. The Championship is being organised by Tom and Judy Kane, Adare Manor Hotel & Golf Resort also pictured. The Irish Open Golf Championship is expected to drive over 60,000 spectators to the picturesque village of Adare, Co. Limerick over the event to see the crème de la crème of Irish and international golf greats including defending champion Padraig Harrington, and the three recent winners on the European Tour Damien McGrane, Darren Clarke and Peter Laurie.
