Welcoming the setting up of the Limerick Local Government Committee by Minister for the Environment, Heritage and Local Government, John Gormley TD, today (18 February 2010), Dr Vincent Cunnane, Chief Executive, Shannon Development, said “Strong regions require a strong economic core and the greater Limerick area has the potential to have an even greater impact on economic development in the wider region.
